Alaska Bus Guy LLC
Policy is subject to change and becomes effective 15 day’s after this web page's modification date.
The following change and cancellation fees apply to your reservation. Prior to 45 days to your fist date of travel a 30% cancellation/change fee will apply: not less than 30 days prior to your first day of travel a 40% cancellation fee will apply. Within 30 days of travel your reservation fee is non-refundable, but you may reschedule your day of service without penalty.
Groups, escorted tours and certain wilderness lodges have additional restrictions, so be sure to ask you reservation agent, consult with us or your lodging booking’s for their cancellation policy information.
Medical or Family Emergencies
Unfortunately we cannot make exceptions to our cancellation policy even in the case of medical or family emergencies. The simple reason for this is that we do not own the various products and services that make up our tour packages, with the exception of Alaska Bus Guy LLC. We are also bound by the contracts we sign with our various suppliers who also stipulate their own cancellation penalties.
We strongly recommend travel insurance, and you can get full details by talking to your reservation agent. Travel Insurance typically covers items such as trip cost cancellation and interruption, medical expenses, emergency medical transportation and lost, damaged or stolen baggage. Because we cannot make exceptions to published cancellation policies, even in cases of medical or family emergencies, WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to obtain Travel Insurance for your trip. Most travel insurance not only covers cancellations fees, but usually covers items such as medical evacuations and missed connections due to late or cancelled airline flights. Both can be major issues with Alaska's vast areas and unpredictable weather.
